The club’s Open Hill Climb event at Cockercombe on Sunday 7 September, run by Dave Bentley, was a great success. The day started with thunder, lightning and  heavy rain, which fortunately had cleared by the time the first rider set off up the climb. Well done to all the riders. Our winners on the day: Ben Millar (Refelx Racing) in a super fast 4.13. Runner up Tom Webb (Wellington Wheelers CC) 4.34. Kev Thomas (Bradford-on-Avon CC) was our masters winner with Natalie Grinczer (DAS Hutchinson) and Noah Gray (Team Tor 2000) taking the women’s and junior titles. Big thanks to all my helpers and time keepers on the day. Big shout out to Andy Winterbottom,  Tony Stroud-Lewis and Andrew Kelly, couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s to next year.
